Chin Hills. 1942 (Aug 17) Cover with "Battalion Commandant Chin Hills" imprint, signed "H. Ouquid Lt. Col., c/o Supdt. Lushai Hills, Aijal, Assam" posted from Falam to Scotland bearing Burma 1a pair, octagonal censor, backstamped at Aijal (Aug 21). Falam was one of four offices in the Chin Hills which remained in British hands after the rest of Burma was occupied by the Japanese in May 1942.
