Croker Fox in Falmouth, a "FAL / MOUTH" handstamp and red inspectors crown altering the charge; 1832 entire letter to Madeira with forwarding agents endorsement of G.C & R.W Fox & Co., posted at Falmouth paid 1/8; and 1840 entire letter from Havana with similar Fox & Co. forwarding agent endorsement and a Falmouth U.P.P "1" paid handstamp. Also 1840 entire to London "p. Dos Amigos of Falmouth" with superb oval "Forwarded by / G.C & R.W Fox & Co / Falmouth" F.A.C, and 1880 entire posted at Falmouth franked 1d with violet oval "FORWARDED BY / W. Bingham, Royal Regiment of Horse Guards, signed by Bingham on the reverse and countersigned on the front, with red straight line "PENNY PD", used in the Packet Office on soldiers letters from the Peninsular War, recorded 1812-13. Bingham includes the postscript "Please to put 1 penny into the post when you send another letter for the last you sent cost me 2 shillings, and all through you not paying 1 penny into the post, if you do that it will cost me nothing".
