Franked around the edges with 1866-70 1k (13), 3k with background consisting of 'V's' in error and 10k, the address written in the centre, all stamps cancelled by "Postal Wagon No. 1.2 (1)" T.P.O datestamps, with a G.B 1d red applied upon redirection and tied by Yeovil 929 duplex, red Aachen c.d.s and "P.D" handstamp. Eight backstamps include a further strike of the Russian T.P.O and a Great Western T.P.O c.d.s, also the blue oval cachet "HOTEL HAMBOURG / MOSCOU".
