  1841 (July 13) 1d Lettersheet stereo A68 to Messrs R. Hentig & Co., originally incorrectly directed by the sender to 'Liverpool' then altered to 'Hull', cancelled by a black Maltese Cross with red "PxL" (LL212, Paid Late) on the front, backstamped at Liverpool and Hull. The enclosed letter reads "Please to forward the enclosed by tomorrows steamer to Rotterdam, yours respectfully, L'Pool, July 13th 1841, for Berles & Co". An exceptional use of a Mulready originally enclosing another letter being sent to a forwarding agent, also unusual with the Paid Late handstamp. £160-200
