The Michael Goodman Collection of British Post Offices Abroad

The interesting collection of G.B stamps used abroad and the postal history of British Post Offices abroad formed by the well known dealer and collector Michael Goodman. Michael had an exceptional eye for the unusual, whilst his knowledge of G.B postal history was second to none. As a result he acquired many unusual and interesting items in his collections, such as the unrecorded red "Valparaiso Paid" c.d.s and the remarkable "British Packet Agency, Panama" cover. He contributed information to numerous books on G.B postal history, several items in this collection being used in John Parmenter's book "GB Used Abroad: Cancellations and Postal Markings".
