  FRAMED RAOB MEDALS. The first a silver and enamel with jewel eyes Midlands County Banner on the bars. Buffalo head centre with Handsworth Queens Lodge, Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes. The reverse inscribed, The Order of Merit was presented to Primo Wm Bate Oliver K O M, by the Brothers of No 2 Handsworth Lodge. In estimation of his services in the cause of Buffaloism and as a token of regard for him as a man. Sept 22nd 1898. Secondly Propoganda - Jewel bars on a red & white ribbon with Buffalo head centre. Inscribed on the reverse, Presented by the Royal Manor Lodge, Primo W A H Scrivens, for past valuable services Mar 14 1892. Thirdly a RAOB Jewel with 1st Dec: 9th May- G E B- 2nd Dec: 25th Aug 1924, bars. Jewel eyes centre with RAOB motto in the blue enamel scroll. Inscribed on the reverse, This Order of Merit and Honour of Knighthood was conferred upon Bro Sir A H R Parr, by The Claremont Lodge. As a mark of appreciation for his services in the cause of Buffaloism, and their regard for him as a man and brother, March 26th 1928 . All three hallmarked. £100-150

  CASED SILVER ROYAL STAMPS SET. The cased silver proof set of The Stamps of Royalty, including the Victorian £5, Edward VII £1, George V Seahorse, George VI £1 and QEII 10/-. Numbered 1779 issued during the Queens Silver Jubilee, the silver replicas depict in total 25 various stamps. Complete with booklet, certificate etc. £170-200

  A ROYAL SCOTS 'NORTH RUSSIA' MEMORIAL PLAQUE. A carved Oak frame Memorial Plaque or Widows Penny' named to Francis Robert Hale. 66111 Corporal F R Hale served in the 2/10th Battalion of the Royal Scots Regiment. Commemorated on the Archangel Memorial, he is one of 221 men who fell in the White (North) Russia Campaign, who have no known grave. He had been previously wounded whilst serving in France. Aged 23 years, the son of Frank and Alice Hale of 42 Greenheys Road, Wallasey, Cheshire. He was Killed in Action on the 10th October 1918. In the operations the Battalion raised in Linlithgow in 1914 (for Coastal Defence) and rendered as 'Fit only for garrison duty' in June 1918, duly arrived in Russia from Ireland in August 1918. Among American, Canadian, Australian, French and Italian troops, they won the Battle Honour Archangel 1918-19. In the skirmishes and actions in the Russian Campaign, they suffered 132 fatalities. Known photographs show them marching through Archangel also those of their Comrades Funerals. £50-80

  A QUEEN ANNE 1704 MEDALLION. A silver issue Queen Anne's Bounty medallion of some 44mm diameter. The obverse shows Queen Anne facing left with the legend ANNA.D:G.MAG. BRI. ET. HIB.REX. The reverse depicts Q Anne presenting a charter to the clergy kneeling at her feet. PIETAS AVGVSTA EX PRIMTIIS. ET. DECIMUS. ECCLESIA. CONCESSIS. MDCCIV below.   A 17thC CARVED CASE FOR COIN WEIGHTS. A carved 17thC coin weight case inlaid with MOP and decorated with crosses and designs. The thin top drawer slides out to reveal compartments for 10 coin weights, 6 of which are present. One of square form with X S below a crown. Another for a William III 1/2 (2)Guinea, then a similar William III 1/2 Guinea weight again with 2 marking. The final three unmarked, the case missing one MOP shell decoration on its base. 4.3/8" x 2.3/8" x 3/8". £70-100
