(Please note what appears to be an official correction on the (i) in Allestone from an (e)? A Queens South Africa Medal with four bars Cape Colony-Paardeburg-Driefontein-Transvaal, named to 5065 Sergt A G Allistone 6/Dns, (with a Ghost dated reverse and engraved official naming). Kings South Africa Medal with bars South Africa 1901 and South Africa 1902, impressed official naming to 5065 Serjt A G Allistone Innis: Drgns: A Metropolitan Police Coronation 1911 medal, named to PC A Allistone. The four mounted for wear, on a bar. Sergeant A G Allistone is confirmed for both IGS medal and PF bar, whilst serving with the 4th Dragoon Guards. With medal issue slip, and original ribbons. His Long Service Good Conduct medal was awarded in May 1938. Albert P Allistone was captured 29th December 1941 and interned in Osaka Prisoner of War Camp, until the 2nd September 1945. His number given as P/J97838 on the official roll. From the date of Albert Percy Allistone's capture, it appears to be during or after the Fall of Hong Kong. The son of Sergeant A G Allistone, 4th & 6th Dragoon Guards. £70-100

In 1924 Flying Officer G M Trundle joined as Intelligence Officer No 4 Flight Training Squadron Egypt. In 1938 he was serving with 907 Sqdn. A sportsman who took part in the Royal Air Force Track & Field Sports of 1928. Later assigned to 113 Squadron and mentioned in RAF reports during 1940/41. Alexandria under the very able control of Sqdn Ldr G M Trundle. One posting was to Heliopolis in RAF Intelligence, as an acting Sqdn Ldr. An 18kt marked Argentina Medal with Republica Argentina obverse and blue enamel reverse. Awarded by the Ministerio de Marina. Two cloth RNAS officers dress wings, various badges and medal ribbons etc. £200-300
