  A VICTORIAN OFFICERS SWORD. A levee or light pattern Victorian officers sword, with single-edged 32.1/2" blade, marked Goddall & Graham, Conduit Street London, VR cypher in the hilt and on the blade, complete with a steel matching scabbard. £100-150

  A WILKINSON R ARTILLERY OFFICERS SWORD. A steel three bar hilt sword numbered Wilkinson blade 39997, complete with its steel scabbard. The very clean single-edged 35" blade, has the Imperial crown above Edward VII. Royal Artillery badge and Royal Artillery owners initials appear to be a large C then I and A. Complete with a brown leather sword knot, some light rusting evident in places on the plated scabbard. £150-200

  A KATANA. A Shin Gunto mounted Katana with steel scabbard and rebound hilt. The blade is unsigned though shortened from an earlier period, having two piercings in the tang. Some light staining to the 27" blade in places, the Menuki of Seahorse form. £200-250

Click to view full image... A BOND OF LONDON FLINTLOCK PISTOL WITH BAYONET. A P Bond (Phillip) son of the founder of William Bond Gunmakers (1768-1776) Philip was making guns between 1776-1800, at 45 Cornhill. later carried on by Edward Bond etc. The pistol has a brass flared muzzle 7.1/2" barrel, with top-sprung 5" triangular bayonet. Fullstock with under mounted ramrod, the action with sliding safety catch and P Bond, Cornhill London on the barrel top. Brass furniture with plain grip, 18.3/4" with the bayonet when sprung overall length. The Cock is only partial and will need replacing, the sprung bayonet works fully. £300-400

  A KUKRI & DAGGER. An unusual Kukri with metal swirl grip hilt and carved wooden scabbard. The scabbard with Oyster shell decoration is in two pieces, possibly the glue having broken down, also contains one bone handled skinning knife. An unusual natives dagger with slim 9" blade and three-toed pommel, in a wooden scabbard. £50-70

  A CASED MIDDLE EASTERN PRESENTATION 20thC SWORD. A 1970's period Shamshir sword with ornate gilt covered scabbard and mounts. Geometric designs cover the scabbard with twin hanging loops also the straight quillions and pommel. The hilt of classical form with a plated blade of 33" length, curved with a single-edge and three quarter fullers. In a fitted case of issue when presented, to a Diplomat by the then Syrian ruler, Hafez-al Assad who died in the year 2000 AD. £200-300

Click to view full image... A BRASS BARRELLED FLINTLOCK BLUNDERBUSS. A brass barrelled Blunderbuss with the Flintlock lockplate marked Walklate with London on the barrel top. Octagonal breech with Proof Marks are on the 14. 1/4" barrel, with underslung ramrod present. The fullstocked gun has brass furniture, with a repair evident in front of the trigger guard. Overall length 29.3/4". Walklate was famous for his pistols with undersprung bayonets and fine officers Holster Pistols, noted as working C1810. £400-600

  A VICTORIAN OFFICERS 'MILITARY TRAIN' SWORD. An 1821 pattern officers sword with steel three bar hilt. complete with its steel scabbard. The very good condition 32.1/4" single-edged blade with three-quarter fuller, marked Simmons, Hemmins Row, London. The etched blade with foilate decoration and Victorian cypher under a crown, has on one side in separate scrolls 'Military Train.' Originally named the Royal Waggoners thence Royal Wagon Corps, then the Royal Wagon Train in 1802. Then between 1856 until 1870, Military Train, later the ASC finally RASC. £200-300
