  Colombia - Scadta Air Mail Stamps. 1923 Colombia Scadta stamps overprinted "SU" for use from Sweden, first printing 5c-5p set of twelve mint, and used stamps comprising 10c (6), 15c, 20c (8, with a block of four), 30c (6) and 20c registration overprint, second printing (SU in a lower position) 5c - 60c mint.   Crash Mail. 1944 (Aug 24/25) Covers to USA franked 70ore or 1.6kr, or to Turkey with the stamps washed off, all recovered from the B.O.A.C Gothenburg to London flight which crashed on the Kinnekulle Mountains on August 28th, the two covers to USA with violet boxed "Damaged through an air- / plane accident in course / of conveyance", the cover to Istanbul bearing an explanatory label in Swedish tied by violet oval Stockholm datestamp (Sep 4). Very scarce; an accompanying copy of a June 2021 "Vorlaufer" article records four covers and two stamps or pieces with this Popo cancel. Photo on Page 212. £80-100
  1922 Zurich First International Air Meeting official postcards (7, one with Flugmeeting c.d.s, one with Zurich slogan for the air meeting), cover with the Zurich slogan, cover flown to Stuttgart with the Flugmeeting datestamp and "SCHWEIZER FLUGPOST" c.d.s, and Flugmeeting tie-on luggage label with details of free flights on the reverse.
