  1804-14 Entire letters from Archibald Maclean to his father at Lagan, Ulva, Isle of Mull, the first three letters written in 1804 as a Lance Bombardier, having just joined the 86th Regt., from Edinburgh, London or India, the last with interesting content on the people and customs of India, privately carried. Also an 1814 letter from Musulipatam; Capt. Maclean has sent a miniature of himself and a Power of Attorney for his prize money for Bourbon, endorsed "favour by Captain Lanphier 86th Regt" and posted in London. (4). £150-200
