| A SET OF W W II PILOTS RAYBAN SUNGLASSES. Cased WWII period blue tinted Rayban sunglasses, worn by the decorated Pilot Flt Lt Bob McLean DFC. He flew the first plane into Japan after the surrender, 'The Spirit of Middlesex' a Dakota. The Far East Transport Squadron he flew in was to consist of some very highly decorated pilots, many with experiences in Lancasters over Berlin. Bob McLean himself brought his Lancaster back when a bomb dropped from a higher flying plane, smashed the nose off his aircraft over Germany. With copy details and wartime photographs of Fl Lt McLean. His Raybans are contained in their original aluminium case, marked B & L, made in the USA. £40-60 |
