Datestamps were supplied to five Bechuanaland Post Offices on this date, all on the route of the runner post service established by John Moffat, between Mafeking and Bulawayo. 1884-1984 Covers, cards and a few fronts, the principal interest in World War Two censored mail with circular censor cachets numbered "3", "4", "9", "13" (on O.H.M.S cover to England "via Transatlantic Ferry Service" with London Paid machine), "20" (2) and "23" (3), censor seals in black, red or blue on mail from or via Bermuda (10, one on a forces air letter from "Head W/T Stn, c/o FMO"), also earlier covers with 1884 cover from St. Georges to London via New York franked 4d, etc. A good lot, the number "13" and "20" censors very scarce.
