1955-59 QEII Definitives with large figures of value, three printed Bradbury, Wilkinson & Company, Ltd. cards (each 114x152mm) bearing imperforate proofs of the 11/2d - 8d values in the issued colours. The first card headed "As submitted, 15-3-55" bearing 11/2d brown-lake, 2d bluish green and 6d purple proofs each with a tick alongside, and 3d vermilion proof marked "A", endorsed "(tick) approved for die 11/2d, 2d, 3d & 6d, 3d no change of colour", three other proofs (marked B, C and D) removed and endorsed "3 3d stamps removed to waste 14/3/56, AJ Mears", the other two cards bearing 4d blue or 8d chestnut proofs, each endorsed "approved A.
