William Henry Fox Talbot, Pioneer of Photography, 1834 (May 29) Entire letter written from 31 Sackville St., "Sir, I enclose you an account of the new Dialytic Telescope, by Baron von Jacquin of Vienna. It is very important & would make an interesting article in your magazine. I regret that I have not time to offer to translate it for you; but if you like to get it translated & any of the technical terms employed should puzzle the translator, I will have great pleasure in offering my assistance to revise the translation, yours very truly H.F Talbot. P.S I should wish the original to be returned to me", addressed in Talbot's hand to R. Taylor Esq., Editor of Phil Magazine, Red Lion Court, Fleet St" and signed "H.F Talbot" in the corner.
