(one or two tiny stains but with original contents) from Interlaken (or "Unterseen") to Scotland with Swiss 1st Issue 'Sitting Helvetia' 40 Rp pale yellow-green (1st Munich print) & 15 Rp Rose (Berne print) tied by barred diamonds and matching 2-ring "UNTERSEEN" c.d.s. with matching boxed "PD" alongside with red 2-ring French "SUISSE/3 ST. LOUIS 3" Entry-mark and London "PAID" transit c.d.s. (16 Aug.). The very lengthy contents are written on a superbly printed pictorial letter-sheet depicting "Interlacken" with the writer's Pension marked at left) by a Scottish tourist describing a long trip across Switzerland. It is noted that "The Pensions at Interlacken are mostly all Hotels on a large scale, full of gay people..." and that B&B costs are high; "5 or 6 francs a day each is the cheapest..."!
