DISTINCTIVE "Missent.to" TYPES, ETC.; 1830-62 lot inc. extraordinary 1830E from London to "Cotton, Alveton, Worcester, Staffs" but with blue "WORCESTER" cds's back and front each with rare claret-purple Handstruck "Missent.to" marks alongside (struck in Worcester) and the example on the front endorsed "2nd time" (!!), the same "Missent-to" mark in black on an 1834 pair of Free fronts, an 1838 OHMS "L.T.R." (Land Tax Registry) free front with Worcester cds endorsed "Missent to" but also with v. fine rare Handstruck "W.
