REGISTERED AIR LETTER FROM SHANGHAI SENT TO THE WRONG SUNKNEN SHIP - 4 YEARS LATER!; 3 July 1946 Registered Airmail franked $14.60 ($10 blue, $50 dull brown, $100 x4 & $200 chocolate x5) with Air/Express labels & registered label with weak 'Shanghai' h.s. to 'Mr Chu Siao Ching Asst. Steward S/S 'Glen Sheil/ c/o Messes. Glen Line Ltd' (S/S Glen Sheil was torpedoed 3 Apr. 1942 by the Japanese submarine I-7, 300 Miles east of the Maldive islands) there was not an Asst. Steward called Chu aboard. However the S/S Autolycus cargo ship had a female asst. steward 'Chu Siao Ching (H.K. Merchant Naval Memorial) who died along with 15 other crew members when the S/S Autolycus was torpedoed on the 6 Apr. 1942 by the Japanese heavy cruisers; Suzuya, Kumano & Shirakumo.
