TORTOLA CROWNED CIRCLE IN BLACK ON KGV POSTCARD WITH STAMP ON PICTURE SIDE; Fine 22 May 1915 PPC (Tortola street-scene) to Italy franked with KGV 1/2d Green on the picture side tied by a very fine 2-ring "ROAD-TOWN/TORTOLA V.I." c.d.s., with a second mainly fine strike of the same c.d.s. on the address side but also having a mainly very fine black "PAID/AT/TORTOLA" Crowned Circle (type 2) on the address-side, applied in transit at the head P.O., presumably as authority for allowing the stamp on the picture side, and so also having a purple straight-line "Bologna Posta Stero" (stamp on back) mark, which overlaps the other marks on the address side.
