Reg. No. ATX 435B
Frame No. 109432
Engine No. 109432
A very fine example of a much ignored model. The Jubilee being the smallest of the Plumstead factories output received rather indifferent press at the time but now presents a very sound entry level into classic motorcycling. ATX 435B is handsomely finished in the factory correct shade of white and presents well with an indicated 15,965 miles, a matching numbers machine which is understood to have been fully rebuilt by a Norton enthusiast, the vendor states that it runs superbly and has a new battery. Its own ring binder file contains various receipts as well as a current MOT valid until October 2017, maintenance manual, instructions and many articles on the model, a current V5C is supplied.

Frame No. 110496
Engine No. 110496
Electric start, six speed, autolube, twin leading shoe front brake! Unheard of specification for a 200cc two stroke twin in the UK, the CS3 also carried enough BHPs to scare off many a larger four stroke. Finished in blue this rare machine appears to have had a nut and bolt rebuild and is in extremely fine order, an original UK machine with a recorded 2719 miles only. Reg. No. VCS 6K
Frame No. 2935926
Engine No. 4074842
This 1971 R60/5 has been retro fitted at some point with a 1974 R90/S engine and subsequently modified for sidecar use. The modifications seem mostly to affect the front brake, instrumentation and lighting system. The owner had been a lifelong motorcyclist and valued member of the VMCC and VJCC, poor health didn't dull his passion for motorcycles and the BMW acquired a sidecar. Eventually the Beemer became too much to deal with and the side car was transferred to another machine (see subsequent lot). The BMW now stands as a solo machine (lacking stands) and as a somewhat modified machine would make a fantastic basis for a custom machine that is fitted with a potent power plant. Purchased from Scotland in 2002 and not fired up for around 2 years the last MOT having expired in April 2016, offered complete with V5C documentation.
Estimate: £2,000 - £2,500 (+ Fees*)

Reg. No. PK51 LBX
Frame No. JYAVM035000002564
Engine No. M602E 025802
From the same home as the previous lot the Dragstar was purchased in 2015 when the BMW outfit became too cumbersome, the sidecar was transferred, resprayed to match and home fitted. The Yamaha was slightly modified around the foot controls and boards and was fitted with a sprung seat (original unit will be supplied). Kitted out with route boards for both driver and passenger the outfit was used on VMCC runs in Norfolk, the last MOT expired in March 2016. Not used since late 2015 but recently started and run after a battery charge, appearing to be in cosmetically good order and offered for sale with current V5C documentation.
Estimate: £1,200 - £1,800 (+ Fees*)

The last MOT expired in late 2015 and the outfit has not been used since, offered for sale with V5C document, a novel machine complete with canine passenger.

Some modifications for the sake of practical usage have been made with a coil ignition in place of the flywheel magneto, a 2 brush dynamo with electronic control replaces the 3 brush system and a Villiers carb' replaces the original Amal unit. All of these changes are well hidden by the enclosure which gives this machine a real Art Deco period feel. Click to view full image... 1960 250cc Ariel Arrow
Reg. No. JFO 994
Frame No. T17056/S
Engine No. T28813G
Stated to be in very good condition, the vendor informs us that the Arrow runs and rides well and everything works as it should. The radically styled two stroke twin Ariel Arrow was launched in late 1959 and soon became extremely popular particularly with the younger motorcyclists of the day who liked its acceleration and its 80+ mph top speed. Thrashed to extinction by owners intent on burning off the more staid four strokes, not many survived and the ones that did have become collectors items. This 250 Arrow was registered on the 1st January 1960 and was therefore manufactured in 1959 and thus qualifies for free road tax and is MoT exempt. The owner bought the bike to add to his collection but due to losing storage space, this and other machines must go. The engine is a rare Golden Arrow specification and has been completely rebuilt including the all important crank seals. Consequently the bike runs and rides well and is yet to be run in. Offered for sale with V5C documentation and former versions.

Engine No. BD3821153
Originally registered GIL 4277 this nice little period piece has been in the current ownership since 1990 and has seen little use in that time. The quoted frame number is likely to be a misinterpretation of the correct YD1S prefix for a 1951 plunger frame, whilst the engine number appears to indicate a 1956 unit has been retro fitted at some point in history. The vendor believes it to be in working order although re-commissioning will be required and it is offered for sale with V5C documentation and the original instruction book.

The very first of the belt engined Ducatis and a rare sight at auction. This example was UK registered in 2014 although it was fitted with a UK headlamp lens, the vendor suspects it was a UK machine originally. Fitted with a 2 into 1 Conti exhaust system this otherwise original Pantah was re-commissioned in 2014 at a recorded 24,221km with new brake hoses, pads and fluid, chain, rear tyre and tube, cam belts, valve clearances and a carb' clean. Reg. No. FSK 792
Frame No. 1301
Engine No. 38 8 779
This most uncommon OHV twin port De-Luxe model was the sporting flagship of the pre-war AJS line up, it was correspondingly expensive and beyond the pocket of most ordinary riders. FSK 792 was comprehensively restored in 1991 and has spent the intervening years being cossetted in two private collections with sparing road use. Consequently it has only covered 1,400 miles in the last 26 years and remains in excellent condition. The current custodian reports that it starts easily and rides very well indeed being easily fast enough to keep up with modern traffic. The AJS is offered for sale with a history file including past MOTs, tax discs, correspondence with the DVLA, an original 1937 sales catalogue, original factory artwork, various bills and receipts and the all important V5 documentation. A classy motorcycle with pedigree.
