Individually signed to the title page by four of the main cast members of the 1965 film of the novel, comprising Julie Christie (Lara Antipova),
Alec Guinness (General Yevgraf Zhivago), Siobhan McKenna (Anna Gromeko) and Ralph Richardson (Alexander Maximovich Gromeko). All have signed with their names alone in bold inks beneath an ink inscription in an unidentified hand. With black and white pictorial covers and end papers and contained in the original pictorial slipcase (slight age wear). About VG £80 - 100

BECKET: Vintage signed and inscribed 10 x 8 photograph by both Peter O'Toole (King Henry II) and Veronique Vendell (a French prostitute) individually, the image depicting the actors in a close-up head and shoulders pose together in a scene from the 1964 film Becket, adapted from Jean Anouilh's play. Signed by both O'Toole and Vendell in bold blue fountain pen inks, largely across light areas of the image. O'Toole was nominated for a Best Actor Academy Award for his role in this film. EASY RIDER: Individual signed cards by the actors Dennis Hopper (Billy) and Jack Nicholson (George Hanson) together with a D.S. by Peter Fonda (Wyatt, 'Captain America') being a signed cheque, Livingston, Montana, 13th September 1988. The partially printed cheque, completed in Fonda's hand, is drawn on the First Security Bank and made payable to the hairdresser Tony Tye for the sum of $45. Fonda's signature is only very minimally affected by a bank cancellation. The three are matted alongside each other in blue beneath a colour photograph of the actors in costume in a scene from the American road movie Easy Rider (1969). MARX BROTHERS THE: Vintage signed 8 x 10 photograph by Groucho Marx, Chico Marx and Harpo Marx individually, the image depicting the three comic actors standing in full length poses together, wearing their familiar character costumes, behind bars in a scene from one of their films. Signed by each in dark fountain pen ink to the image, partially across darker areas although still reasonably legible, Groucho with his first name, also adding an inscription, and Chico and Harpo with their full signatures. Triple matted in black and white alongside two smaller reproduction images of the brothers and an engraved plaque. Framed in a silver wooden frame to an overall size of 25 x 20.5. Vintage signed and inscribed postcard photograph by both Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy individually, the image depicting the duo in a characteristic head and shoulders pose together wearing their bowler hats. Signed by each in bold fountain pen inks to the lower white border and inscribed ('Hello Alan!') in Laurel's hand to a clear area of the background. Addressed in Laurel's hand to the verso to Alan Evans in Coventry and additionally dated Empire Theatre, Edinburgh, Scotland, 1st May 1952, also in Laurel's hand. LAUREL STAN: (1890-1965) English Film Comedian. A.L.S., Stan Laurel, one page, 4to, Kenilworth, Warwickshire, 16th August 1952, to Alan Evans, on the printed stationery of the Chesford Grange Hotel. Laurel apologises for not having received his correspondent's letter earlier, explaining 'so was unable to let you know that we would have been pleased to have had you visit us back stage' and adding 'However, we hope you enjoyed the show.' Laurel has added Laurel & Hardy in his hand beneath his signature. Accompanied by the original envelope (stamp torn away with an area of paper loss) hand addressed by Laurel and bearing a colour vignette of the duo to the verso above the return address ('Garrick Theatre, Southport, Lancs') also in Laurel's hand. PORTER COLE: (1891-1964) American Composer. D.S., Cole Porter, being a signed cheque, Peru, Indiana, 30th September 1946. The partially printed cheque is drawn on the Wabash Valley Trust Co. and made payable to James McCutcheon & Co. for the sum of $875.90. One letter of Porter's signature is very slightly smudged and a red ink bank cancellation and perforation affect the first letter of the signature. Some light overall age wear, only G £80 - 100

PORTER COLE: (1891-1964) American Composer. A good A.M.Q.S., Cole Porter, on an oblong 12mo page possibly removed from an autograph album, Beverly Hills, California, 1st October 1946. In dark fountain pen ink Porter has neatly penned two bars of music which he identifies as being from Night and Day. Inscribed by Porter above the quotation and signed beneath. A typed caption in the lower left corner provides the place and date when the quotation was signed. Two small file holes to the left edge and two small scuffs, none of which affect the text or signature. About VG £400 - 600
Night and Day is Porter's most popular song, written in 1932 for the musical play Gay Divorce. It was to become one of Fred Astaire's signature pieces and is performed in the 1934 Astaire & Rogers film The Gay Divorcee.

WIZARD OF OZ THE: A large colour 21.5 x 34 poster for The Wizard of Oz individually signed by nine actors and actresses who portrayed Munchkins in the film, comprising Jerry Maren, Nels Nelson, Betty Tanner, Lewis Croft, Mickey Carroll, Margaret Pellegrini, Karl Slover, Meinhardt Raabe and Clarence Swensen. Each have signed their names alone in various coloured inks, all to clear areas. Limited Edition number 912/1000.
