  1931 (May 2/31) Eurasia Aviation Corp. first flights to Europe via Manchouli, printed first flight envelopes, one with embossed seal on reverse only, carried on an earlier trial flight, addressed to Vienna franked by five 16c stamps + Air set of five all cancelled at Shanghai on May 2nd, datestamps of Moscow and Berlin (both May 18) and Vienna (May 19) with red "MIT LUFTPOST BEFORDERT / LUFTPOSTAMT / BERLIN C2", Chinese and Russian Air Mail labels; a second envelope unusually with embossed seal on both front and reverse, bearing 22 differing definitives to the $5 and Air set of five all cancelled to order with the special pictorial cancel.   1947 (Aug 16) Cover from Tientsin to Scotland bearing eight China stamps, a little waterstained, handstamped boxed "DAMAGED BY / SEA WATER". Recovered from the B.O.A.C flying boat from Hong Kong to G.B which crashed into the sea when landing at Bahrain on August 23rd with the loss of ten lives. £100-120
