GIBRALTAR - MODERN PROOFS & ESSAYS: Large group incl. four unadopted hand-painted essays marked Christmas 1972 2p (3) and 3p hand painted essays on thick cards with green frames (253 x 159 mm) and one 2p in the vertical format (159 x 252 mm). All are artist signed. A beautiful group. Also 1982 100th Anniversary of Gibraltar Chamber of Trade hand painted 20p essay on card (120 x 89 mm) with m/s changes in pencil. Also a fine coloured painting of the arms without inscription on acetate (152 x 80 mm) plus 1982 Christmas, four hand painted essays for the vignette on black cards (c 160 x 120) including the finished design for the 14p one is artist signed. Also 14p & 17p corner blocks of four.
