A BOX CALF BURGUNDY BAG POSSIBLY HERMES
This exquisite hand bag was owned by the daughter of a well known Industrialist in the early 1930's. The bag has all the hallmarks of being Hermes, the leather is box calf, the stitching is by hand, every seam beautifully worked. The H opens on a hinge to release the bag flap. The interior concertinas into three main compartments, with a central fourth compartment closed with a zip. And a small mirror side pocket. The bag has a soft light brown suede lining. 8" x 10.5" x 3". (There are no stamps). A further black patent leather bag with gold front catch. (2)
