1965 250cc Royal Enfield Continental GT Reg. No. EFK 41C Frame No. 69905 Engine No. GT15534 Probably one of the best looking British machines ever produced and often copied, indeed a brand new Indian built model can be purchased from your friendly dealer, this example however is the real McCoy. Supplied with a dating certificate from the owners club confirming this to be a genuine matching numbers GT, the bike has benefited from a restoration in 2012 to a very high standard and accompanying receipts for parts for £2,500 demonstrates the level of attention paid. Correct in all respects right down to the oft mentioned 5 speed gearbox which, for the faint of heart, is accompanied by a 4 speed unit should it be preferred. A 1976 green continuation logbook shows a Newcastle and Northumberland ownership at that time whilst recent times have seen the GT as a very fine ornament and the current custodian admits to a couple of trips around the block only in the last 18 months or so. Begging for a riding ownership this little gem is supplied with V5C, dating certificate, receipts, green logbook and expired MOT (June 2013). Beautiful! Estimate £3,500 - £4,000 |

1994 1,000cc Yamaha FZR1000 EXUP Reg. No. M363 AEW Frame No. 3LG017181 Engine No. 3LG017181 A very fine one owner from new example of the legendary EXUP (Exhaust Ultimate Power Valve), in suitably clean and tidy condition, the vendor informs us that the bike is as good as it looks with the only niggle being an occasionally temperamental starter button. The usual curse of Anno Domini is the only reason for sale and this very fine example is supplied with a run of MOT's from new (2008/9 absent) which confirm the lowly mileage of just over 26,000, the current certificate is valid until June 2014. The original owners manual is supplied along with the fully stamped service record showing the first 8 services, V5c documentation is also present and it will be difficult to find a more cared for example of the FZR. Estimate £1,500 - £2,000 |

1959 250cc Ariel Leader Reg. No. 851 GDH Frame No. T4181A Engine No. T4181A Finished in two tone blue this example of Ariels two stroke twin has been in dry storage for a considerable number of years having been purchased by the family at some point just after 1972. Appearing to be complete with just the perspex screen absent it is offered for sale with its original buff logbook showing it was sent to Motorcycle Mart direct from the factory and stayed in the showroom until it found its first owner in 1960. A thorough re-commission will be required and a supplied workshop manual will assist a sound example with V5C documentation. Estimate £800 - £1,200 |

1929 350cc Calthorpe Ivory OHV Reg. No. UL 6080 Frame No. D8/1914 Engine No. D9S 3404 It is uncertain when the Ivory came into the current family ownership but certainly the buff continuation logbook shows just one recorded previous owner in 1944 a Mr Percy Gray of Spalding, Linc's. Once forming part of a collection, the vendor recalls his father buying it in 'a bit of a state' prior to a restoration being undertaken many years ago. Work ceased and the Calthorpe has remained dry stored ever since, the hand change bike appears to be majorly complete but is clearly lacking lights and instruments, the professional toolmaker vendor states that there may have been work carried out on the twin port OHV engine but he can't be sure such is the passage of time. Certainly this is a very desirable project that superficially does not appear to require a huge amount of work to provide a finished example, offered for sale for the first time in two generations and supplied with V5C documentation. Estimate £2,500 - £3,500 |

1983 500cc Honda CX500C Reg. No. EEW 196Y Frame No. PC012208689 Eng. No. PC01E2221562 In the same family ownership since new and with just 15,995 recorded miles. A Custom Fasteners invoice from the date of purchase shows that the chrome pegs, radiator cover, instrument cover and sissy bar were all fitted from as new whilst a qty of MOT certificates confirm the lowly mileage. The last tax disc expired in 2004 indicating perhaps the last time the CX custom was on the road. The vendor describes the bike as in generally good condition with the blue paintwork very good, a degree of elbow grease may well be required to make the brightwork gleam, offered for sale with V5C documentation original owners manual and stamped service book. Estimate £400 - £800 |

1969 750cc BSA Rocket 3 Reg. No. YGV 49G Frame No. 23425 Engine No. DC23425 A75R The BSA Rocket 3 appeared in the USA in late 1968 and in the UK in 1969. The triple cylinder 750cc engine was the fastest production motorcycle to be sold when new with a top speed in excess of 125 mph. The styling by Target Design gave it its distinctive shape and 'ray gun' exhausts reflecting the obsession with the space race which prevailed at the time. Although fast on the straights and the bends as well as being comfortable and reliable the bike was expensive and within a few months Honda brought out their iconic 750/4 - dubious handling but well styled, quick, reliable and an electric starter. The end was nigh for the moribund British bike industry. This original UK machine, registered in Ipswich was fully restored a few years ago and invoices for thousands of pounds can be found in the history file - new old stock parts being sourced from around the world. Most significant is the invoice from 1993 from LP Williams for a complete engine rebuild. Les Williams was the chief Triumph factory race mechanic during the Slippery Sam days and set up his own business working on Triumph and BSA triples after the demise of the factories. As such the engine has been rebuilt by the acknowledged world expert on BSA triples and is stated to be reliable, rattle free and quick. The only deviation from the original being the later addition of Boyer electronic ignition and an electronic regulator. Although LP Williams rebuilt the engine in 1993 it remained unused and when the current owner purchased the bike to restore it was noted that the plastic spark plug hole blanking bungs were still in place from the rebuild. In addition to the engine rebuild the bike has benefited from a full professional re-spray, new stainless rims and spokes, tyres, handlebars, switchgear, seat exhausts system and numerous other parts - many which are now impossibly expensive or just plain impossible to source. Since the restoration the bike has covered just 1,100 dry miles and the engine is not yet fully run in. Offered for sale with a new MOT, V5C documentation and history file. Estimate £10,500 - £12,000 |

1985 750cc Suzuki GSXR750 Reg. No. B147 SEC Frame No. GR71F104706 Engine No. R705 In 1985 Suzuki produced the GSXR 750 - the first true race-replica. The bike stunned the motorcycling world. The original model featured a lightweight aluminium alloy frame, flatslide carbs, twin discs with 4-pot calipers and 18 inch tyres both front and rear. The seat had a separate front and rear section. The distinctive styling spawned the nickname 'slabside'. However in 1986 the design changed. This GSXR750 was manufactured in 1985 and is therefore one of the very few original bikes from the first year remaining. Unusually this machine has not been molested and is completely original (apart from perhaps the indicators) even down to the distinctive cheese-grater silencer. The bike is stated to run and ride well and will need the usual recommissioning and check-over as well as a battery to put her back on the road. Offered for sale with V5 documentation Estimate £1,200 - £1,500 |

1957 70cc BSA Dandy Reg. No. LCF 947 Frame No. DS12004 Engine No. DSE11768 In 1956 BSA, keen to compete in the lightweight and scooter markets produced the BSA Dandy: a 70cc two stroke semi scooter with a left hand side kick-start and two speed pre-selector gearbox. The bike was well received at its launch but problems with the earlier machines dogged the model and it was withdrawn in 1962. As evidenced by the dealer plate attached to its side panel, this Dandy was sold new by W Green of North Street, Sudbury, Suffolk in 1956 so is a genuine East Anglian machine. It still wears its original West Suffolk registration number LCF 947 and has had only one previous owner. The bike has formed part of a private collection and the seller says it runs and rides well - the pre-selector gearbox being surprisingly easy to use. The lights work and the bike is taxed and used regularly. The MOT exempt Dandy is offered for sale with V5 documentation Estimate £600 - £900 |

1964 305cc Honda CA 77 Reg. No. N/A (dating cert') Frame No. CA781015072 Engine No. CA77E1000876 The CA 77 305 cc machines were among the first larger-capacity motorcycles that Honda mass-exported. They were characterised by a pressed steel frame and alloy overhead cam twin cylinder engines, and were very well equipped, with 12v electrics, electric starter, indicators, dual seats and other advanced features. A bit different from the 250 and 350 6 volt single cylinder kick-start plodders of the period that UK riders were used to. This very rare Honda CA77 has been 95% restored to a very high standard with many genuine new parts. Only a chain-guard (supplied)and electrics being required to finish. The bike is in excellent condition and comes with a VMCC dating certificate certifying that it is an early 1964 version helping to make registration a straight-forward process, offered for sale without documentation direct from a private collection. Estimate £1,600 - £2,200 |

1933 500cc Ariel VA Reg. No. N/A (Dating Cert') Frame No. Y2389 Engine No. CK4434 In 1933 the Ariel factory produced the 500cc model VA - a lower specification version of the model VB. The machines featured a four speed gearbox, a sturdy and reliable 500cc single cylinder side-valve engine, instruments mounted in the chrome tank and valanced front mudguards. Being mostly side-car machines and used for the daily trip to and from work and the annual holiday, very few VAs have survived. This very rare Model VA4 was despatched to Charles Cope and Sons Ltd of Birmingham on 31st May 1933 and represents a rare girder forked restoration project needing a few parts (available from Draganfly motorcycles and the internet). The bike comes with a copy of the factory despatch records and a VMCC dating certificate. Estimate £1,500 - £2,000 |

1939 350cc Triumph 3SW Reg. No. N/A Frame No. Not known Engine No. TBA An early Triumph 350 side valve WW2 machine, most were OHV. This machine will require total restoration but is nonetheless a rare survivor which we are informed retains most of the hard to source parts, offered for sale without documentation Estimate £1,000 - £1,500 |

1968 650cc Triumph T120 Bonneville Reg. No. OKE 853F Frame No. T120R DU75607 Engine No. T120R DU75607 The iconic Bonneville has been owned since 2001 having been purchased from a dealer with a full nut and bolt restoration by Ken Gale in Wales. It is related that the good Mr Gale only rode it a couple of miles a year for the MOT test otherwise it was a tow to show machine. Initially in the current ownership some teething troubles appeared and FD Motorcycles of Dunmow, Triumph specialists, sorted things out including reverting back to points ignition and replacing the high pressure oil pump with a standard unit. The vendor reports that the T120 has run beautifully ever since and is an easy starter. The matching numbers Bonnie has the horn located under the tank to facilitate a circuit allowing it to run without a battery, easily reversible, the speedo is reported to have recently stopped working as well. Finished in red and silver this is a ridden machine that the vendor reports has been to many shows with utter reliability and is offered for sale with a quantity of bills and receipts from the current ownership period, old MOT's back to 1995 as well as a current certificate valid until July and V5C documentation. Estimate £7,000 - £8,000 |
|||

1974 125cc Honda TL125 Reg. N/A Frame No. TL125-1107469 Engine No. TL125E 1105465 Finished in silver and blue the TL has had a great deal of money spent on parts and engine work with receipts for over £1,700. The engine is rebuilt from the main bearings up and the rest has been gone through from the newly painted frame down to the rebuilt wheels and new tyres. The forks have been rebuilt and the rear shocks are new NJB items, whilst the tank has been lined for ethanol resistance. Worthy of close inspection and requiring a few finishing touches. Offered for sale with a quantity of receipts as well as a Honda (UK) dating letter. Estimate £1,500 - £1,800 |
|||

1971 500cc Kawasaki H1-A Reg. No. YKO 795J Frame No. H1M11 23985 Engine No. KAE 22347 If you wanted to be the fastest hooligan on the block back in the day this was the tool to have. Now a rare commodity especially in the apparently unmolested condition of this example which was imported from the USA in 1989. Still bearing the original dealers badge 'The Kawasaki Shop, Aurora, Illinois' and the period correct vinyl stickers to tank and sidepanels, a few dings and knocks are apparent as one would expect for an unrestored 43 year old, but its unrestored condition is indeed a great attraction. The recorded 10,531 miles are believed to be original by the current owner who admits that whilst the H1 has been started occasionally it has not been ridden by him, general wear and tear to hips and knees restrict riding these days. Offered with current V5C and MOT valid until October 2014, the blue double drum H1 is the perfect excuse to get your flares flapping in the blue haze of a legendary two stroke triple. Estimate £4,500 - £5,500 |

1959 7540cc Triton Reg. No. VDA 52H Frame No. P14 81203 Engine No. T110 D6850 A very fine creation utilising a 1959 Dominator 99 wideline Featherbed frame powered by a much uprated pre-unit 1960 Triumph Tiger 110 engine. The power plant is fitted with a Morgo 740cc 9 stud conversion with a twin carb head and Amal 900 carb's which have been overhauled and equipped with bellmouths. Norton Roadholder forks connect to the wheels which have Borrani rims laced to the Norton hubs. The front aluminium mudguard with its fine rubber mounted fittings appears to be a period item along with the Converta tank strap holding the 5gallon fibreglass tank and the Cuppini levers and mounts. Briefly part of a private collection and never ridden by the current owner but regularly started to savour that glorious noise. A VMCC dating certificate is supplied for this Triton with great potential, some tidying up work might be in order which would result in a spectacular example which carries duty free road tax and an MOT valid until September along with V5C documentation. Estimate £6,500 - £7,500 |
