  1922 (Mar. 31 - May 13) Covers (3) and postcards (2) bearing Malaya-Borneo Exhibition stamps, comprising March 31st postcard (faults) apparently posted from the exhibition with 1c + 2c cancelled on the first day of issue, 8c commercially used on postcard from Penang to Switzerland, 2c + 5c + 10c on registered cover cancelled at Pitt St. Penang (provisional registration label), 5c on commercial cover from Singapore to Penang, and 1c + 5c + 8c + 10c on registered cover from Penang to Bahamas, a good group. The Crown Agents had forty copies of this 12c lithographically printed by Waterlow & Sons (the original die proofs being recess printed) for sending to newspapers and magazines in order to illustrate the stamp and publicise the issue; these were accompanied by a request to return the proof after use, but a few were evidently never returned.
