Click to view full image... Commissioned by Society Cards for use as a 2014 Christmas Card image, two paintings were made, one for the front of the card and one for the back. Using the 1975 Massey Ferguson 168 tractor and trailer from the farm where Steven Binks has his Studio, friends and family posed for the Bures landscape feeding scene. The painting has also been used by Rose Calendars of Colchester as one of the images in their 2016 "Rural Heritage" Calendar. Acrylic on canvas board, framed size 27" x 23". Auction Lot comes with ring binder containing official commission letter from Society Cards, and various photos of the initial set-up scene and Steven painting the original in his studio.
