(5) and 2d. all cancelled by "R" in oval and showing superb despatch c.d.s. at foot, the reverse with Brisbane (18.9) and Hobart (23.9) c.d.s.; the envelope with a couple of small faults though a rare and impressive double interstate franking £100-120

  southern and western railway: A collection neatly mounted and written-up on thirty-two pages, arranged by Campbell Types and presented in an album with slipcase, comprising covers/cards (34) with SW1a (Up and Down, the former the latest recorded date of use), SW1b (4 with early and late registered items from Hendon and Murphys Creek), SW1c (2), SW2a (7, one registered), SW2b (3), SW2c (5, one the earliest recorded date of use, 22 May 1892 showing "late fee" handstamp, one registered and one incoming from New Zealand), SW3a (registered from Taroom), SW3b (Up and Down, the latter being the only recorded example), SW4a (2), SW4b, SW4c (2), SW4d (2), 1904 envelope from Cambooya bearing 2d. pair cancelled with Railway number "62", and a with a range of loose adhesives/pieces (42) including rare oval-framed cartouche "s&w.r.l" numbers "1" (2) and "2" (2) on Chalon 1d. (2) and 2d. values. Generally fine and an attractive collection £600-800
