Gordon headed "H.M.Sloop Espiegle, Off the coast of Borneo, August 19th 1845", addressed to London and posted at Hong Kong on 29th September, rated "1/-" and showing, on reverse, Hong Kong and London (25.11) datestamps; a little discoloured and with some split panels.
