'Crescent' serving with the North American Squadron at Halifax, Nova Scotia, bearing Small Figures 10c. on 6ca. tied by blue pa-kua with "customs/tientsin" c.d.s. alongside with Japan 5s. Koban tied by "shanghai/i.j.p.o." c.d.s.; the reverse with Shanghai Dollar chop in reddish black, Yokohama (17.6), Vancouver (30.6) and part Halifax c.d.s. My recent research into this stamp indicates that there were only three sheets cancelled in Soochow. This means that there were only eleven sheets released, or 275 stamps.
