Wyndham Binns, Mrs. Allen's, 7 St. Leonards Place, York", cancelled by a superb small "YORK" cds of "SP 30/70" but also having a superb matching York encircled "2D" Postage Due mark alongside, because these cards, although available for purchase just prior to the 1st Oct. 1870, were not allowed to be used until the official 1st October 1870 date of issue! The 2d charge was for the fully unpaid letter rate (no ½d rate existed until the following day). The message appears to be entirely commercial: "Don't forget your Samples. W.W.A.".
