EXQUISITE EDWARDIAN LADIES WALKING SUIT Circa 1915 this classic S curve shape suit is tailored from fine wool, with a braided soutache trim encircling each sleeve edge, collar and all around the jacket at hip height. There are two rows of facetted black glass buttons down the front, fastening with hooks and eyes. The jacket is lined in silk. 17" underarm to underarm; sleeve 21 1/2", 28 1/2" length down back; 14" across the back. The skirt is made from the same fine wool is high waisted, six cloth buttons running diagonally across the front and back of the skirt as a detail. Hook and eye fasteners at the waistline and a 16" deep kick pleat in the back of the skirt, for easy walking. 12" waist; 19" hips; length 40". (good condition) (2) £80-100
