1930'S LAME DRESS - EGYPTIAN REVIVAL GOWN. This breath taking piece was made for an Egyptian-themed party in the 1930's. The dress has been made from heavy gold lame and is embellished with red velvet, rhinestones, gold sequins and turquoise jewels. Size 6. Lord Strachan, of the Clan Strachan in Scotland. This was probably a ceremonial suit, which was tailored by 'Stewart, Christie & Co, Edinburgh' by appointment to the late King George V.'
