A box circa 1900 dresses. A cream floral patterned silk dress with embroidered yoke, white cotton drawers. A late 1930's flower fairy outfit comprising dress of green rayon with blue net skirt and matching green hat, A further dress of ivory tulle over rayon, trimmed with pale blue flowers at neck, sleeves and hem. The dress has been made from heavy gold lame and is embellished with red velvet, rhinestones, gold sequins and turquoise jewels. Size 6. (The dress is in good condition, with a couple of fraying threads, the odd missing sequin and some light marking to the hem and inside train).   A 3-PIECE FROCK COAT & BREECHES & SPORTS JACKET. A heavy black wool 3-piece frock coat, waist coat and breeches lined in silk, made in 1953 for The Hon. Lord Strachan, of the Clan Strachan in Scotland. This was probably a ceremonial suit, which was tailored by 'Stewart, Christie & Co, Edinburgh' by appointment to the late King George V.' Jacket Size 151/2" across the shoulders, Breeches 37" waist. A further purple sports jacket labeled 'rowan Glasgow' with a embroidered coat of arms badge. (4) £50-60

A damask cream silk kimono woven with flower symbols and hand embroidered with very fine satin stitch and gold couch work depicting the Japanese rooster symbolising good fortune and gain, in wonderful rich colours, reds, greens and gold. Gold couch work, Japanese knot and hand-painted black lattice work. The kimono is lined in red silk with a padded hemline. The original sash belt is missing. See Illustration £250-300
