Four inch scale Burrell style compound traction engine. The vendor states that this model was first fired up in 1966 and was the property of the Darbys of Sutton, well known steam hauliers. The accompanying paperwork indicates that R H Clarkes Thetford Town may have been the basis for the build in doubled up scale. The documents also show that a new boiler was fitted in 2009 by H Maskell & Son Ltd. An initial boiler test record is supplied and the last hydraulic test expired in late 2012. A workmanlike model that will do good service on the rally field and is consigned from the family of the original owners.
