Note: This camp was originally created to house citizens of the Central Powers living in Burma, who however were sent into camps in India. After that, the camps was transformed to a recreation camp for Turkish officers in the Thayetmo camp. Later on, there was only one civilian left, a German called Patzert, married to a Burmese woman.
