Henry Moore : Shelter Sketch Book, Nd. C.1945? ( Presumed 1st.Ed. Bibliophiles seem divided over publication date offering 1940 (which is probably absurd), 1942 and 1945). Landscape 8vo hb with original dj. Facsimile Moore signature and date on fep, colour, tinted and monochrome plates of his work in the Underground shelter environment. Featuring haunting illustrations which became the inspiration for some of his sculpture. A relatively scarce work. The book is generally vg. The dj is virtually complete but has suffered the sporadic ravages of selotape in a couple of places. Estimate £30 - £40
