From the log book, he appears to have enlisted as Air Mechanic 2/2/30, first flying entry is 3/1/37 with 6th Sqn, with full flying duties through to March 1941, many listed as Bomdes (Bombing missions), moved to 15 Sqn 15/9/39, after 1941 odd flight listed with last 27/6/51. Also with metal bracelet with Spanish pilots wings badge and reverse dated 28/1/39. An exceptional Air Force group with supporting paperwork, rarely seen for the Spanish Civil War.
