Marked inside the album My Lace Book, Mary Sharp 1898, it includes mounted examples of lace and needlework including Buckingham, Devon, Honiton, Nottingham, Italian, French, Flemish, Maltese, Spanish, Irish, Brussels and Swiss. Each page has some written information about the sample next to it, and the album comes in a pine box. Album 28cms by 21cms.

The three-quarter length sleeves have layered, scalloped and weighted cuffs, the back of the dress falls away as straight pleats from the neck to the hem. The unlined matching silk taffeta underskirt is gathered to the waist with replacement cotton ties and pinked scallop shaped layered front pleats.
