Large Wooden Live Steam Model of a Royal Navy War Ship - of wooden construction with live steam marine engine driving twin propellers to rear, not fitted with a rudder, however the removable deck/superstructure section, contains various metal/wooden fittings including various sizes of gun, aircraft, lifeboats, searchlights etc. May have been produced by Bassett-Lowke as the vendor was a personal friend but the model is unmarked. The workings are untested but still a Good impressive example for display or re-commissioning 115cm/45" long. Bassett-Lowke or similar substantial Wooden Clockwork Powered Model of a Royal Navy Four Funnel War Ship - battleship grey, with black lower hull, various metal/wooden deck fittings, removable deck/superstructure panel to give access to the clockwork motor, which appears to be in working order but the drive to the twin propellers has ceased. Includes a rudder and both masts - Good 24"/60cm long. This lot, until recently, was exhibited by the vendor at the Bassett-Lowke Museum, Northampton for a number of years. £150-£200

A large Wooden Waterline Model of a Royal Navy H68, believed to be HMS Foresight which was one of nine F Class Destroyers built for the Royal Navy during the 1930's. The model is finished in battleship grey with a flat bottom to the hull, variety of metal/wooden fittings including 2 x funnels, torpedo tubes, anti-aircraft guns, lifeboats (the top to the forward mast has broken off), some small parts may be missing but overall a Good example, possibly of Bassett-Lowke manufacture 26"/66cm long. This lot, until recently, was exhibited by the vendor at the Bassett-Lowke Museum, Northampton for a number of years. £200-£300

Bassett-Lowke large heavy "Stationary Boiler" - substantially made item with cast metal brick effect sides, chimney, boiler with valves and pressure gauge (marked Bassett-Lowke), associated pipe work, large burner. Cast into the end of the frame work are the letters BL Limited - some age related wear but overall a Good scarce example for display, mounted on a wooden plinth and being almost 18"/45cm to the top of the chimney and comes with a display notice from the museum. Bassett-Lowke Vertical Steam Engine, c.1904 - with brown painted cast metal base, removable burner with 2 x wicks, boiler casing with chimney, whistle and associated pipe work etc and chimney to top. Includes a flywheel with pulley. Interestingly also included is a photo copied page from a vintage Bassett-Lowke Catalogue showing the range of these vertical steam engines and the illustration is similar to this item, some age wear but overall a Good scarce example for display, 16"/40cm tall, comes in a plain open wooden box and a museum sign.
