Of rectangular form with gently domed lid. The body decorated with raised gilt geometric panels, the reeded silver mount with shaped thumbpiece, discharge mark of Antoine Leschaudel, Paris 1744-50 and the Recognition mark for Paris 1756-62.

Of tapering form with button release clasp lidded section, the case decorated with two gilt C scroll cartouches of figures at leisure, a fishing scene to one side and two figures in a landscape to the other. Gilt metal mounts to base lid and hinge. The gilt metal and steel fitted interior partially complete with bodkin with ribbon slot and thread eye no wax scoop, a snuff spoon, pencil holder, folding ruler, compass, scissors and tweezers/nail file. Of slender tapering elongated octagonal form, with vacant seal end base and detachable cover. Decorated throughout with panels of translucent royal blue enamel of repeating arches in papillon topped with translucent enamel. Enamel panels interspaced between chased and enamelled trailing garlands, the cover tip similarly chased and enamelled. Marked to the inside sheath only for Paris, 1798-1809 750/ 1000 mark, later guarantee mark of 1847-1919 for minor gold items.

Of oval elliptical form with stand-away hinge, the lid with central plaque in three-colour gold depicting an allegory of young love, showing Cupid with arrows cast asunder beneath an urn upon pedestal, filling an ewer from an arched fountain while clasping a flower spray. Plaque held within a canted corner rope twist border against a scored-threaded ground with bright cut engraved with stylised flower sprays and border of oak leaf garlands. The sides with engine turned and bright cut engraved panels interspaced between tooled urns, the base similarly decorated again. Marked with Belgian horse's head standard mark (1831-1868) to base flange and retailers stamp, also stamped to interior and lid with incuse maker's mark.

The body of waisted flat form, the hinged silver cap with embossed decoration of a petal burst and acanthus scrolls, with French marks and makers mark, with stopper. Together two further bottles, one of similar shape but with unmarked silver overlay design of flower sprigs and arches, the curved octagonal hinged top with engraved decoration, with stopper. The other example of double ended form in ruby glass, embossed unmarked silver caps to both ends one with stand away hinge the other screw cap, one stopper present. (3)
