RICHARD COSWAY R.A. (1742-1821) Portrait of a lady wearing white dress, her grey hair plaited in a wreath, sky background, on ivory 6 x 5 cms in 19th century frame bordered with brilliants. An inscription on a label c.1900 on reverse gives the identity of the sitter as Susan Countess of Guilford*.
