  SOUTH PACIFIC ISLAND TAPA CLOTH This Tapa cloth is most probably from Fiji. The cloth is traditionally white made from the Mulberry bark. Decorated with black and brown stencilled patterns. The stencils are made from cut out banana leaves, with a pigment rubbed through. This Cloth has been placed in a large perspex frame. Provenance: Prominent New Zealand Family. (1) £100-150
