A 1920s black devore silk velvet flapper dress. Deep scooped neck sleeveless gown, the bodice falls to a drop waist and a full bias cut skirt. Two extra short bias cut 'skirts' overlaying the main body of the garment. The dress is silk lined. There are one or two hardly noticeable holes to the dress but overall the garment is in good vintage condition and very wearable £80-120

A 1920s ladies calf-length tan leather coat. Garment has a typical straight cut to be pulled in high at the waist with a belt. Fastens with single row of buttons (all original) with matching two fastening lapels. Two side slit pockets. Lined with an olive green and maroon check wool fabric - all intact and clean. Outer leather of coat has some obvious wear and tear but still is a lovely piece for its age. The coat belonged to the head of the maths department at Manchester Girls Grammar School and it is believed that this lady wore it when she went on suffragette marches. The garment is very similar to the aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart's flying coat displayed in the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington DC £100-140

A stunning early 1960s ball gown by 'Chanelle'. The dress is in a vibrant orange/yellow and grey-green floral print on lined chiffon. A net, stiffener and hooped underskirt give the dress a fabulous full skirt which flares and pleats from the waist. The bodice is boned and reinforced also with stiffener and features one ruched strap. Garment fastens at the back with a metal zip. There is a mark to the front of this garment.
