Chamberlain and Hill (UK) Cast Iron George V Royal Bank. Elaborately decorated with images of King George V and Queen Mary. Dated 1910. Width 5.5"/14cm. Appears to have been lightly over-varnished some time ago. Small supporting lug at rear broken off, though bank will still stand. Securing screw at rear replaced. Good for display. £15-£25

Yone (Japan) Coffin Bank. Black tinplate "coffin" with clockwork plastic skeleton figure who scoops the coin into the bank. 1960's issue. Clockwork working when tested. Length 6.5"/16.5cm. Excellent in Fair illustrated card box. Together with Japanese Santa in Chimney clockwork toy. Plastic Santa head with cloth hat in a card chimney with a tinplate base with fixed key clockwork movement (working when tested). The head turns and bobs out of the chimney to a ringing sound. Pressed Steel gravity operated toy comprising an inclined track with a tipping truck which fills with sand from a hopper at the top then runs down the track to tip the sand and return to the top by means of a weighted pulley.
