| Julian Bailey (b.1963) Julian Bailey was born in Cheshire and studied at the Ruskin School of Art as a Member of New College Oxford, and then at the Royal Academy Schools. In 1984 he was awarded the Egerton Coghill Landscape Prize and the David Murray Landscape Award. In 1986 he won the Turner Gold Medal (RA Schools) and in 1988 the Landseer Scholarship. He was Hunting Art Prize finalist in 2004. He was elected member of The New England Art Club in 2011 and has exhibited extensively in many of the U.K.'s leading galleries, his work is represented in many important private and public collections including Pembroke College, Oxford and HRH The Prince of Wales' collection. | |
