1988 5343cc Daimler Double Six four door saloon Reg. No. F746 PUV Chassis No. SAJDDALW3CA480381 The Double Six moniker harks back to the V12 Daimlers of the late 1920s with that name which epitomised luxury motoring of the era, the top of the range Daimler of the 1980s was deemed to also fulfil that role. This example, from a deceased's estate, has remained in the same farming ownership since 1993 and was last used on the road in 2011 since when it has been kept and maintained in the car 'shrine'. Finished in red with a beige leather interior the Daimler fired up readily on inspection and was driven around the yard, a slight leak from the power steering pump was noted with the associated whine. The interior is in very tidy order with the wood veneer and upholstery presenting well, luxury V12 motoring at a low cost. Currently on SORN and with a recorded 85,346 miles F746 PUV is offered for sale with copious old MOTs, numerous valuation certificates and mileage records. Estimate £2,000 - £3,000
