All refer to Indian stamps with particular reference to telegraph stamps deep brown, 25r. Tyrian purple, 25r. violet (red) with manuscript note, "Rejected November 9th 1871, and the old colour used Recipe No. 648" (previous item), 100r. deep purple, 500r. green, and 1000r. red (cochineal).
