  Orange River Colony extensive mint and used collection/accumulation, over 650 stamps, mostly in singles with some pairs and a few blocks of various sizes, all neatly mounted on pages often with a number of examples of each value, includes a good representation of the unoverprinted issues and the early surcharges, this is a fascinating area for the collector of varieties because of the different settings and varieties of the "V.R.I." surcharges, many varieties and better items are present, the later Edward VII issues are complete both mint and used including three 5/- high values in both mint and used, also includes an "O.V.S." Military stamp genuinely used on cover with scuff in the top left corner of the stamp, not counted are various mint and used telegraphs, revenues and other issues, condition is overall quite nice, a few faults are to be expected but the vast majority are o.g. or used, fine-very fine; well worth examining by the specialist of this area; total Scott catalog value is over $6,800 not counting the cover.
