Bale #124 var., Safed Local, 10m Black on white paper, a most unusual variety that occurred because the Safed local was printed on the reverse of envelopes, some of which were the unissued Safed postal entire with an imprint of this stamp, this example was printed right on top of this imprint, it lacks the blue background on the front and has a virtually full imprint on the reverse of the envelope stamp (this is a correct impression and not an offset which would be a mirror image), tied to a bilingual corner card cover of "Ecole De L'Alliance/Isra\elite Universelle" to Haifa by red Lilac double circle c.d.s. of May 14, 1948, stamp lifted and hinged back into place to show the impression on the reverse causing the ink of the cancel to run a bit, vertical fold to the cover, otherwise very fine and an extremely rare variety of an already scarce stamp.
