L&YR mahogany cased Block Bell. The case and base are stamped 'L&YR 798' and the underside is branded 'LNWR'. Good condition.

SECR 3 aspect Handlamp with SER reservoir and SR burner. The lamp has the typical flat lens at the front and the reducing cone has the brass plate 'SE&CR GN No 2213 affixed. Beside this is a small brass button plate engraved with the letter 'A'. The body is stamped 'SER' as is the rotating drum. In all a very attractive lamp.

Eastern Counties Railway Company 'Excursions And Special Arrangements for the month of June 1860' published at the Superintendent's Office, Terminus, Shoreditch and the Several Railway Stations. An incredible survivor with an enormous amount of pages laid out in Handbill style showing special trains, excursions, cheap trips, family excursions etc. Must be viewed (carefully). The spine has come away leaving the front cover detached but the interior is well sound and the different coloured 'handbills' are vibrant and fresh considering the age. A quite magnificent insight into late Victorian Railway operations.

Ruston Proctor & Co Lincoln Worksplate number 24068 together with a later Ruston & Hornsby Lincoln Worksplate Size 48 Class DS No 279597. Both from Diesel Shunters, the former being prior to 1918 when both companies became Ruston Hornsby.

GWR mahogany cased Block Bell with R.E. Thompson makers plate on bottom front base. Cow-bell style, the front face has a blanking plate affixed presumably where the Tapper was once fitted. Good condition.

SWR 3 aspect Handlamp with unmarked reservoir and burner. Stamped SWR on the side and a small brass plate stamped 203 is attached opposite. Together with a GER 3 aspect Sliding Knob Handlamp with an LNE reservoir and a BR E&NE burner. The location plate is missing but the initials GER show beneath. Copper cowl to front lens. Finally a LMS General Purpose Handlamp with original reservoir clearly stamped LM&S and an unmarked burner. The curved top is embossed in large letters 'L.M.S'. Good condition.

Birmingham City Corporation cast iron Street Sign with ornate end design WINSON GREEN ROAD, totally unrestored.

GWR Signal Box Control Instrument. Dating from the late 1920s onwards, these were part of the G.W.R.'s 'Economic Maintenance System' for lighter-used single lines. They controlled ganger's locks in P.way cabins along a stretch of single line and when put into operation enabled the ganger to withdraw a circular brass key, from either a round Signal Dept release instrument, or later the 'dog kennel' type of release. At the same time the normal key token operation for the particular section would become inoperable, to protect the P.way gang as they worked.

GNR(I) Saxby & Farmer all copper Signal Lamp with a lens on all sides. There is a large blue lens with a small similar to the left and a large red lens with a small clear lens to the right. A large oval brass plate is affixed to the chimney cone 'Saxby & Farmer Signalling Engineers London W'. Very attractive and would polish up brilliantly for display.
