Gladys Cooper (1888-1971), a collection of real photograph and other postcards depicting the actress (a collection of over 300, some including her children, (some signed), together with various other postcards, a photograph of Gladys Cooper and a signed Christmas card portraying Barbara Cartland and her family, contained in four volumes and a scrap book generally good, some with creasing and other minor damage, we believe there to be four signed photographs Estimate £300 - £500

Of Rugby interest: A large quantity of ephemera and other material relating to the playing career of Don White (1926-2007) including his East Midlands Union cap (1936-1937), his Northampton RFC cap, a Barbarians blazer badge, an England RFU blazer badge, many rugby club ties, various signed and other dinner programmes, together with Playfair and other printed material
* Don White was educated at Wellingborough Grammar School and at the age of 17 made his debut for Northampton. He made his international debut in 1947 and played 13 more matches for England, his last in 1953. He represented his club 448 times. In 1964 he became managing director and chairman of his family shoe business, which received a Queen's award for export achievement in 1990.
